Hanoi, October 13, 2019 - The annual BRG Golf Hanoi Festival has completed its fourth edition as joy-filled golfers enjoyed a dinner party in the music space of the Award Gala, which took place at the BRG Legend Hill Golf Resort.
After two days of competition, golfer Hoang Ngoc Thuy became Grand Champion with a total score of 147 and received a championship trophy made by Chu Dau Pottery, a national gift bringing the cultural quintessence of Vietnam.
Thuy is the first Vietnamese golfer to get his hands on the championship cup at the BRG Golf Hanoi Festival. After the award ceremony, Thuy shared, “For the first time I have received the championship trophy made from pottery, a beautiful and traditional Vietnamese product. All is great, and the tournament has been very impressive. The BRG Group golf courses are very beautiful and challenging. The excellent quality of grass on the golf courses makes me play better when attempting to conquer the holes. I will definitely come back to experience more of the BRG Group’s golf courses.”
The exciting Gala Dinner featured a lucky draw, attracting many attendees hoping for one of the many valuable gifts handed out by sponsors of the tournament.
In the vibrant music space and the Gala Dinner served by 5-star hotel chefs, a number of golfers responded positively to the professional organisation of the competition, bringing the experiences of tourism and resort nature.
Japanese golfer Yamanishi Kazuyoshi, who won the BRG Golf Hanoi Festival in 2018 said, “I am very satisfied with the event, even though I did not play as well as last year. The quality of the golf courses is excellent and the organisation of the tournament is really professional. I will definitely come back next season.”
Speaking at the Gala Dinner, Mark Reeves, director of BRG Group's Golf Division, said, “Following the success of the previous three seasons, this year's BRG Golf Hanoi Festival has been extremely smooth and professional, with the satisfaction and joy of the hundreds of golfers that participated. During the tournament, golfers have had the best sports moments at BRG Group's world-class golf courses, and also had a lot of fun and time to relax.”
According to Reeves, the positive response from golfers from many countries around the world has demonstrated the role of BRG Group in the development of Vietnamese golf. At the same time, it shows that the BRG Golf Hanoi Festival is an attractive rendezvous for international golfers, contributing positively to the development of Vietnam's golf tourism.
